The Opportunity Zone (OZ) incentive is a new community investment tool established by Congress in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to encourage long-term investments in low-income urban and rural communities nationwide. Opportunity funds are a new class of investment vehicle that aim to responsibly drive much-needed capital into rural and low-income communities.
