SKY Program Welcomes 2019 Class, Congratulates 2017 Grads
NATIONAL OFFICE – BKD CPAs & Advisors is pleased to announce a new class for its SKY Sponsor-Protégé Program while congratulating the latest graduates. The two-year leadership development program matches protégés with a sponsor to help participants achieve their career aspirations. The effort is part of the firm’s SKY initiative, which works to create equal opportunities for all employees.
“The Sponsor-Protégé Program has become a highlight of SKY, creating opportunities for our protégés to focus on their personal development and goals,” Managing Partner and SKY Council Chair Wendy Henry said. “Over the course of the program, we also find that sponsors increase their knowledge and people development skills. The program continues to be a success for all participating. Congratulations to our 2017 graduating class and those selected to participate in 2019.”
Since the program’s inception, 48 protégés have participated, with 12 elevated to managing director and partner levels. As the program continues to succeed, BKD now has former protégés serving as sponsors to provide targeted mentorship to BKD’s next class of firm leaders.
