INSIDE Public Accounting Honors BKD with Pyramid Award for Sustained Excellence
NATIONAL OFFICE – Independent trade publication INSIDE Public Accounting has again recognized BKD CPAs & Advisors as one of the nation’s top accounting firms, this time for sustained excellence.
BKD was one of three firms recognized with a Pyramid Award at IPA’s 10th annual PRIME Symposium in Indianapolis in late October. The three were chosen from IPA’s annual Best of the Best list—an independent ranking of the 65 best-managed firms in the U.S. and Canada.
From this select group, BKD received the IPA Best of the Best Pyramid Award for longevity, with 11 consecutive years on the list. IPA editors noted that BKD “sustains financial and operational excellence year after year,” in making the announcement.
“To be named by IPA as one of the best firms in country is itself a great honor,” said BKD CEO Tom Watson. “To be further honored for sustained excellence is validating and gratifying for us all. This recognition is a testament to our clients and to their continuing confidence in us. We are proud to work with them, year in and year out.”
The 2021 Best of the Best selections were based on responses from more than 520 accounting firms on more than 50 metrics incorporating everything from training and turnover to costs and compensation. The IPA Best of the Best firms vary in size and are geographically dispersed across the country. They demonstrate long-term consistency and exceptional performance, regardless of outside factors. This is IPA’s 27th year ranking Best of the Best firms.
The other two Pyramid Award honorees were Aycock & Company and MaloneBailey LLP, both based in Houston.
