SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Angela Morelock, managing partner of BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division, is pleased to announce Bryan Callahan as the new leader of the firm’s Big Data & Analytics practice.
“Bryan’s experiences have given him a unique set of skills that position him well to lead our Big Data & Analytics practice,” Morelock said. “From his time spent in forensic accounting to his time as an auditor, he has a 360-degree view of ways organizations can benefit from our suite of services.”
Bryan specializes in data analytics, with applications in forensic investigations, fraud prevention and detection, litigation support, continuous auditing, internal control assessment and risk assessment. His use of data analytics is built on a solid foundation of fraud examination experience, including investigating allegations of misappropriation through interviewing, document examination, data analysis, calculation of damages and presentation of findings. He has performed litigation and investigation services for businesses in a variety of industries, including Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to being a CPA, Bryan holds the Certified in Financial Forensics certification from the American Institute of CPAs and is a Certified Valuation Analyst and Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Valparaiso University, Indiana, with a B.S. degree in accounting and management.
