BKD’s Global Alliance Praxity Hits Record Revenues
NATIONAL OFFICE – Accounting firms in Praxity Global Alliance achieved record combined global revenues of U.S. $6.38 billion for 2019, an increase of 9.3 percent in real terms. U.S.-based firm BKD CPAs & Advisors is a charter member of Praxity, AISBL, an association that helps accounting professionals connect and exchange expertise in 111 countries. Through the Alliance, member firms assist businesses globally by working in multidisciplinary teams to help clients operating across international borders anywhere in the world.
“BKD’s collaboration with like-minded firms through Praxity has allowed us to provide our clients with continuity and global access to services and support for international issues. The Praxity Global Alliance has proven to be very successful for everyone involved,” BKD CEO Ted Dickman said.
Results for 2019 show combined revenues of Praxity member firms increased in every sector and region of the world last year, reinforcing the Alliance’s global presence. The rising numbers can be attributed to organic growth and key strategic mergers, such as BKD’s recent expansion into New York City, New York; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Austin, Texas.
In regard to the Alliance’s ongoing success, Praxity Chairman Gordon Krater said, “This represents the 13th consecutive year of growth since Praxity was founded in 2007, which is a remarkable achievement given the pressures on the global economy. It demonstrates the Alliance’s collaborative approach to accounting, tax and consulting is a winning model.”
The record-breaking revenues cap a highly successful year for Praxity, which was crowned IAB Association of the Year in 2019 for the fourth time in six years. “It is a testament to the hard work of the Praxity staff, and all the partners and staff within the Alliance,” said Praxity Executive Director Graeme Gordon.
Praxity released a press release with revenue numbers for each region and service line.
