NATIONAL OFFICE – Jack Thurman, managing partner of BKD Wealth Advisors, LLC, is proud to announce BKD Wealth Advisors has once again been included on the Financial Times (FT) Top 300 Independent Registered Investment Advisers (RIA) list. This is the third year BKD Wealth Advisors—with more than 60 personnel and clients throughout the U.S.—has been included on the FT list.
“We sincerely appreciate the national recognition,” Thurman said. “I believe it’s a reflection of our team’s daily dedication to truly understand and serve each client.”
The FT 300 is independently produced by the FT and recognizes top independent RIA firms across the United States. According to the list, the average FT 300 firm manages $2.7 billion in assets.
To create its list, the FT reached out to the largest independent RIAs with a minimum of $250 million in assets. No more than 75 percent of a practice’s assets could be institutional to ensure the list was relevant to the FT’s affluent readers. Qualified RIAs filled out an online application and were scored on several factors, including their assets under management (AUM), AUM growth rate and compliance record. Selection is independent and objective, and no money is exchanged as part of the process.
