BKD Partner Justin Stenberg appointed to chair Praxity’s North American tax group in 2022
NATIONAL OFFICE – Justin Stenberg, a BKD partner based in Houston, Texas, has been appointed to chair the Praxity North American International Tax Working Group, effective January 1. His duties will run during the 2022 calendar year.
Praxity, AISBL, is the world’s largest alliance of independent accountancy firms, with 14 years of consecutive growth and more than 50 member firms in 111 countries. Praxity provides a gateway to tax, assurance and consulting services delivered by member firms committed to the highest standards required in international business. BKD was a founding member of the alliance and is one of its largest U.S. members. Praxity and its member firms continue to earn accolades. The alliance was just named the Association of the Year at the prestigious Digital Accountancy Awards, marking the fifth time it has earned that honor in its 13-year history.
Praxity’s North American Tax Group is one of the largest working groups within the alliance. As chair, Stenberg will be pivotal in guiding strategy for the group.

Stenberg is a member of BKD’s International Tax Services division and has 15 years of experience providing tax services to clients in the manufacturing, distribution, software and service industries. He has worked closely with privately held and publicly traded corporations.

Stenberg is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Indiana CPA Society, and TXCPA. He is a 2006 graduate of Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Indianapolis, with a B.S. degree in accounting, finance and international studies.
