BKD to Host Nationwide Virtual Event for Public Sector Entities

NATIONAL OFFICE – BKD National Public Sector Group will host a complimentary roundtable event for public sector entities across the country. Public sector leaders nationwide are facing changing regulations, challenges, and issues amid COVID-19. This CPE-eligible event is a time for those in the industry to ask questions, get insight and plan for the year ahead. It will take place Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The 2020 Public Sector Virtual Seminar agenda is stacked with learning opportunities for entities. Topics will include:

  • GASB updates and changes
  • Best practices for fraud and internal controls
  • Public sector economic updates
  • The effect of COVID-19 on the credit market
