BKD Cyber Announces New Ransomware Risk Assessment Service
NATIONAL OFFICE – BKD Cyber is excited to announce the rollout of a new ransomware risk assessment service.
Recent ransomware attacks remind us how important it is for organizations to acknowledge potential cyber risks. “This service was created to directly address the growing threat of ransomware,” said BKD Cyber Partner Cindy Boyle. This new service aims to identify control weaknesses and vulnerabilities that ransomware attackers can exploit.
The Ransomware Risk Assessment methodology focuses on testing a variety of controls, including remote access configuration, phishing prevention, email and web protection, access controls, endpoint monitoring, end-user awareness and backup resiliency. At the end of the assessment, BKD Cyber professionals will provide clients with findings and recommendations to help the organization prevent, detect and ultimately respond to a ransomware attack.
“Most organizations are failing every day, lacking the necessary controls to prevent and recover from a ransomware attack,” said BKD Cyber Director Cy Sturdivant. “Our service aims to change that, and I’m very excited about the value this will bring to our clients!”
BKD Cyber offers a range of cybersecurity services, including advisory and training services, proactive control testing and security assessments, regulatory and privacy compliance and incident preparation/response planning.
