DALLAS – Todd Lisle has been appointed to managing partner (MP) of BKD CPAs & Advisors’ Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco offices, effective January 2019. Lisle succeeds Tom Watson, who has been appointed to regional managing partner (RMP) for BKD’s South Region, effective June 1, 2019.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to serve the Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco teams as their managing partner and look forward to building on the great work Tom and others have already done in this very important BKD market,” said Lisle.
As Watson prepares to be South Region RMP, he looks forward to helping Lisle transition into his new role. “I’ve had the privilege to work with Todd as a fellow South Region managing partner and also on BKD's Governing Board,” said Watson. “I’ve always been impressed with his thoughtful approach and passion for building tomorrow’s leaders.”
Current South Region RMP Steven Warren holds Lisle in high regard. “We considered the qualities our next Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco MP needed to possess, and Todd checked every one of those off.”
CEO Ted Dickman said, “Todd has displayed outstanding passion and commitment to BKD’s Oklahoma offices, and I’m excited to see him further develop the Dallas, Fort Worth and Waco practice unit.”
Lisle previously was the MP for BKD’s Oklahoma City, Enid and Tulsa offices. He began his career with BKD when Lisle Compton joined the firm through a 2006 merger. Lisle has previously served two terms as a member of the firm’s Governing Board and is a three-time Most Admired CEO honoree by Oklahoma City’s The Journal Record. With more than 30 years of public accounting experience, Lisle has demonstrated strong leadership skills that have been influential in growing the Oklahoma practice unit.
