BKD Announces 2020 PRIDE Award Recipients
NATIONAL OFFICE – During BKD CPAs & Advisors annual leadership conference, held virtually this year, CEO Ted Dickman announced that St. Louis Managing Partner Wendy Henry and Tulsa Manager Mark Fiegener are the 2020 PRIDE Award recipients. The PRIDE Award recognizes individuals who emulate the BKD PRIDE values of passion, respect, integrity, discipline and excellence.
Henry is responsible for the development and growth of BKD’s SKY program. As chair of the SKY Advisory Council, she has made lasting contributions to the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiative and has helped provide and facilitate education, mentorship, connections and opportunities for many BKDers around the firm.
As the managing partner of BKD’s St. Louis and Decatur offices, Henry oversees approximately 125 personnel serving more than 4,500 businesses and individual clients. She has more than 30 years of experience and is an active member of the St. Louis community, serving the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Saint Louis Zoo Association and Mercy East Hospital Association.
“Wendy always holds herself to be the best person she can be. Those who have worked with Wendy consistently mention her integrity and how she strives to be excellent in everything she does. She is one of the great leaders at BKD,” said Dickman.
Fiegener is a member of BKD National Manufacturing & Distribution Group, as well as BKD’s audit innovation team. He earned BKD Oklahoma’s 2016 Pillar of the Firm Award and BKD Oklahoma’s 2017 PRIDE Award.
Fiegener serves on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries of Tulsa, as well as its finance, nominating and strategic planning committees. He also has held roles with Family & Children’s Services’ Young Professionals Advisory Council, Tulsa’s Young Professionals, BKD Oklahoma Employee Engagement Council and BKD Tulsa’s social committee.
“Those who have worked alongside Mark regularly commend his infectiously positive attitude and deep commitment to living out the PRIDE values daily.
