BKD Announces 2019 PRIDE Award Recipients

News Release

National Office – BKD Chief Executive Officer Ted Dickman is pleased to announce the partner and employee recipients of the firm’s 2019 PRIDE Award.

Eddie Marmouget, this year’s partner PRIDE Award recipient, is based in Springfield, Missouri. He has served as national industry partner for BKD National Health Care Group and currently leads BKD’s Health Care Performance Advisory Services division. Those who have worked with Eddie over the years consistently mention his profound influence on their careers, his innovation in developing new services and how his expertise has made him a trusted advisor to fellow BKDers and clients alike.

“I’ve worked closely with Eddie for more than 16 years, and the loyalty he generates from clients, team members and others is a special quality,” said one teammate.

Austin Perkins, this year’s employee PRIDE Award recipient, is a managing consultant based in BKD’s Louisville, Kentucky, office. His passion for leveraging technology to innovate creative solutions for client issues quickly earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor who consistently strives to exceed expectations.

“I’ve never encountered another BKDer who has more passion for mastering technology, and his commitment to innovation is unmatched,” said one of his peers.

The BKD PRIDE Award was created in 2003 to honor individuals who exemplify BKD’s PRIDE values—passion, respect, integrity, discipline and excellence—in extraordinary ways. This prestigious award is presented annually to a partner and an employee, who are nominated anonymously by their peers within the firm. Award winners are recognized at BKD’s annual leadership conference, where they address more than 1,200 of their colleagues after receiving the coveted BKD PRIDE bowl and a cash prize.
