Many Sage users are converting FRX reports to Sage Intelligence. The best method for this is the Sage Intelligence Report Designer Add-In.Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 1

After selecting and running the add-in report, the Task Pane should appear on the right side of the report.Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 2

If the Task Pane does not appear, follow these steps:

1. Check that the Report Designer License is enabled in Sage Intelligence License Manager. If not, contact Sage to verify your registration keys.Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 3

3. Choose “Add-Ins.”Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 5

At the bottom, select “Manage:  Excel Add-In.” Click “Go.”

Be sure the Report Designer Add-in and Report Designer Add-in (Custom Task Pane Helper) now appear in the “Active Application Add-ins” section.

Now, uncheck the “Solver Add-in” and be sure it appears in the “Inactive Application Add-ins” section.Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 6

Click “OK” and close Excel.

Rerun the Report Designer Add-In report; the Task Pane should appear. If it still does not appear, click on the “Add-Ins” tab. Click “Report Designer Add-in, Show Task Pane.”Correcting a Missing Task Pane in Sage Intelligence 7

Note:  Disabling the Excel solver add-in may affect other Excel workbooks.
