Sage recently announced one of its flagship products, Sage 500 ERP, will not sunset in 2017 as previously reported. In fact, Sage has announced it will continue to develop Sage 500 ERP to further enhance the user experience.

Sage 500 ERP development resources for the next three years include focusing on additional functionality and mobility. Some of the specifics include:

  • Increased email field length
  • Improved search capabilities
  • Sales order number on invoices
  • ACH receivables via SPS
  • Credit card clearing
  • Improved inventory purge
  • Manufacturing purge from inventory
  • Plus many more customer-requested enhancements

Sage also has released Sage Inventory Advisor for Sage 500 ERP to assist with correctly managing your inventory levels to gain efficiencies relative to inventory control.

Competing in a mobile environment is more important now than ever. Knowing that, Sage has released three mobile applications that integrate with Sage 500 ERP:  Sage Mobile Sales, Sage Mobile Services and Sage Billing and Payments. All three apps enable your business to compete in a mobile environment. With these apps, you’ll have the tools to meet the needs of your customers while growing your business.
