The standard setters at the Financial Accounting Standards Board have been busy. Their recently released guidance on Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Topic 842, Leases, is sure to have significant effects on the financial reporting at many community health centers (CHC). Join us as BKD takes a CHC-oriented look at what the changes are and how you can successfully understand, adopt and implement the new guidance.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the changes coming to the current lease classifications
  • Explain how a CHC can prepare for the changes
  • Identify what will be required from CHCs
  • Apply the new guidance to leases, including those existing at the adoption date and those executed after the provisions of ASC 842 are in effect
