In this webinar for CACUBO members, we'll examine key higher education financial metrics and the Composite Financial Index (CFI) and how they are used to measure an institution's financial health. We'll study the various CFI components and identify other key financial metrics that institutions should focus on. BKD will use information from its ClientLink system to present peer data and other financial benchmarks. We'll also discuss how to link the CFI and key metrics to dashboard and board reporting and strategic planning as well as provide example financial dashboards for consideration.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize and describe CFI and other key higher education financial metrics and how they demonstrate institutions' financial health
  • Use CFI and other financial metrics to help measure and link to the strategic plan
  • Identify ways to present and report financial metrics in dashboard fashion to boards or committees
