This program will outline how tax-exempt organizations and their related taxable entities may be subject to adherence of the transfer pricing rules, which require them to deal with each other at arm’s length and have proper documentation to support their dealings with each other. The IRS is stepping up enforcement to ensure tax-exempt organizations are complying with transfer pricing rules, so organizations without proper documentation face the risk of adjustments, penalties and loss of tax-exempt status. This webinar also will demonstrate how tax-exempt organizations can allocate their income and expenses between exempt and non-exempt activities, i.e., unrelated business income.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize basic transfer pricing rules
  • Demonstrate compliance with IRS guidelines
  • Identify unrelated business income resulting from non-exempt activities
