This complimentary webinar focuses on the first phase of the ICD-10-CM/PCS Implementation Plan. The time frame for this phase is First Quarter 2009 - Second Quarter 2011. If you haven't started yet, or if you have but want to review your steps, join us for a discussion of the strategic steps necessary to implement the ICD-10 change. Phase 1 of implementation focuses on strategic planning and performing an impact assessment and gap analysis. Until all the preliminary planning work is finished, many people don't know how much time it will take to perform all of the tasks in Phase 2.

Phase 2 involves actually making the changes identified in the impact assessment, including designing and implementing the training. To have all steps finished by October 1, 2014, it is critical for all organizations to complete the first phase and be well into Phase 2. Join BKD and G2N for important information on the key steps in Phase 1 implementation.
