A well-established medical clinic experienced problems producing timely and accurate financial statements. A change in administrators gave BKD the opportunity to offer solutions through its accounting outsourcing services department.
BKD established a work schedule for exchanging information and introduced Checkbook Solutions/WS2 software to enable the clinic to pay its bills, store the information on disk and save the time of rekeying transactions. Then our small business consultants loaded the stored data, made standard month-end adjustments and reconciled certain general ledger accounts. This arrangement has continued on an outsourcing basis.
The result: timely and accurate monthly financial statements at a greatly reduced cost.
