Merrillville

Led by Managing Partner Tom Cottrell, BKD Merrillville was established in 2001 when the George S. Olive firm merged with BKD. The office consists of 30 personnel, including one partner, who offer focused experience in cost segregation, audits and tax services for the construction, distribution, financial services, manufacturing and real estate industries.

BKD Merrillville is located in a city that host or is near many notable events and attractions such as the Star Plaza Theatre and the Pruzin Community Center, as well as outdoor adventures at Hidden Lake, Crescent Lake, Forest Hills and Wirtes Park. Just down the road on U.S. 30 are amusement parks such as Zao Island, Deep River Water Park and Illiana Motor Speedway. The famous Albanese Candy Factory allows visitors to take tour and see how candy is made. Merrillville also is only six miles from the Lake County Fairgrounds where there are shows and activities all year long such as antique shows, livestock events and concerts.
