The number of fraud and abuse allegations continues to rise each year. As a result of these allegations and the corresponding corporate integrity agreement (CIA), many providers engage an independent review organization (IRO).BKD Health Care Group provides CIA reviews as an independent review organization. BKD adheres to the independence standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and General Accounting Office (GAO).
