Compliance Plan Assessments

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) continues to provide guidance to hospitals for developing and maintaining effective compliance programs. In the January 31, 2005, Federal Register (page 32014), the OIG states that "the single biggest risk area for hospitals is the preparation and submission of claims or other requests for payment."
