Interventional Radiology Operations Assessment
Interventional radiology is used to diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases with nonsurgical or minimally invasive techniques under imaging guidance. The APC reimbursement for invasive procedures includes the highest-weighted groups. Because of the complex rules for coding these services, providers may not capture all revenues due.
