Jeff is the chief investment officer (CIO) and chair of the BKD Wealth Advisors/BKD Family Office Investment Committee. In this role, he develops and oversees the firm’s investment process, including asset allocation strategies and investment selection for affluent families and institutions.

Prior to joining BKD Wealth Advisors, Jeff was a senior portfolio manager in the private bank group of a national banking organization.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder. The CFA® charter is obtained by successfully completing a three-year program with studies in equity analysis, fixed income analysis, portfolio management, accounting, economics, derivatives and ethics.

Jeff is regularly contacted by national media to provide interviews and commentary regarding the market and economic conditions. He has been quoted in publications such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek. His television and radio interviews include Bloomberg Radio, Fox Business News and CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” and “Closing Bell” programs.

Jeff is a member of the CFA Society Kansas City and CFA Institute. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocate Association and Arc of the Ozarks.

He is a 1987 magna cum laude graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a B.S. degree in finance and a 1995 graduate with an M.B.A. degree in finance.
