Our office is part of the KCKN practice unit, BKD’s largest practice unit with 300+ people, including 37 of the firm’s more than 200 partners. Joint marketing and engagement staffing opportunities abound as we work together to serve approximately 3,000 clients.

Kansas City is one of BKD’s founding offices, dating from 1923. BKD is one of the largest accounting firms in Kansas City.

The audit department processes more than 450 full-disclosure financial statements, including approximately 300 audit reports.

Using RIA’s GoSystem RS, we annually process in-house approximately 4,000 tax returns of all types.

Our BKD Technologies division provides strategic planning and implementation; network and security consulting; and project management assistance.

Our BKD Wealth Advisors professionals provide financial planning, investment management and planning and estate planning services.

Our consulting department provides industry-specific services such as operations improvement, regulatory compliance for financial institutions and human resources.

The employee benefit department and accounting resources team provide monthly accounting services, payroll services, employee benefit plan administration and Internal Revenue Service filings.

Our health care department provides financial statement audits and forecasts, reimbursement services, coding and billing assistance, operations improvement, strategic planning, clinical consulting and regulatory compliance advisory services.

We encourage our staff to become actively involved in community organizations and events and to participate in our BKD Foundation outreach where appropriate. It’s our way of supporting the community while expanding our network of business contacts.
