PDOs are earned monthly and can be taken immediately. Part-time employees earn them on a pro-rated basis.

Balancing Life & Work
Paid Days Off (PDOs) - To provide more flexibility to employees, BKD offers PDOs, which cover vacation, sick leave, personal time and bereavement time. They accumulate monthly at rates tied to your years of employment with BKD and may be taken immediately. Full-time employees have the ability to purchase five additional days of PDO on an annual basis.
Reward Time Off - Employees contributing significant efforts completing projects may be rewarded with additional time off by designated partners.
Holidays - BKD’s 10 holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, two days at Thanksgiving, two days at Christmas, and two BKD-determined days.
Personal Flexibility - Situational flex-time is available for occasional use, and more extended flex-time may be arranged with approval.
