BKD Promotes Five to Director Level
Date: April 26, 2011
NATIONAL OFFICE – Neal Spencer, BKD, LLP chief executive officer, announces the promotion of five professionals who deliver unmatched client service, embrace the firm’s values and are committed to the accounting industry. These individuals will assume their new director roles beginning June 1, 2011.
Much like partners, directors play an important role in BKD’s continued success and growth. They possess superior technical skills in their respective fields, and their individual efforts have had a lasting impact on the firm’s overall success.
Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience. Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members. Created three years ago, the director career track offers opportunities for employees whose expertise is extremely valuable to the firm and who have shown a willingness to assist client service professionals who wish to become partners.
“These five individuals are a perfect fit for the director niche,” Spencer said. “Their thought leadership has deepened the value of services BKD provides to its clients.”
