Led by Managing Partner Tom Watson, BKD Waco was formed in 2011 and consists of approximately 50 team members, including one partner and two directors, who primarily offer health care audit and reimbursement services to community hospitals and other providers. The office also provides tax planning, business valuation, technology and litigation support services to companies in a variety of industries.
The Waco office is located in Woodway, not far from Lake Waco and the Carleen Bright Arboretum. Waco is home to Baylor University, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, the Dr Pepper Museum and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Situated along the Brazos and Bosque Rivers, Waco has 35 parks and a pedestrian-friendly downtown district with a variety of dining, entertainment and shopping opportunities. Waco is conveniently located about 100 miles south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
